DIY Lavender & Peppermint Essential Oil Bath Salts August 09 2017

 

You've been thinking about hopping into the bath all day at work, and finally the time comes!  You reach for the bubble bath in your cabinet that you've had for years only to realize it's all gone. Don't Fret! This super simple DIY bath salt recipe only has 4 ingredients and takes less than 15 minutes to create!  

It features Peppermint and Lavender essential oils which are two of our favourites! Lavender has always been a great product for inducing relaxation and of course smelling amazing! Peppermint is also another one of our favourites, it's cooling sensation feels amazing on a pounding headache or for an extra boost of energy in the morning.

Here's what you'll need...

INGREDIENTS: 

2 cups epsom salts

1/2 cup baking soda

1/4 cup sea salt (optional)

30 drops of lavender essential oils

10 drops of peppermint essential oil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl.

2. Store in an air-tight jar and use 1/4 cup per bath.
